Just a quick hello to John and Phil from Martienne. I was a friend of Johns back in the day in Cardiff and I have been fortunate to hear this guys vocals from day one. He just keeps producing the goods. Phil was knee-high to a grasshopper when I first met him. He assures me that he hasn't grown much except widthwise (now I don't believe that for a second Phil - the lover of all things chocolate) Looking forward to hearing the new CD as 13 Storeys kept me in a good frame of mind all last Summer. Hi, I'm Pekka, a 34 year old bass player from Finland. I found this new forum (and the new website) by looking for some Sloman news 'cause it had been a bit quiet. Now I have the new album ordered which is nice.

His previous two albums were fantastic and from his previous work I have to say that I like the Lone Star album a bit. Fantastic drumming on it. Pulsar I haven't heard but the line-up is interesting and I guess the music was diverse. Uriah Heep? Well, to put it gently, not my cup of tea...

Hello there Pekka, how did you guess I was a Todd fan - Heh! Todd is one of my top three singer/songwriters and just in case you were wondering the other two are Joni Mitchell and John Sloman. These three artists have stunning vocal abilities, magical lyrics and amazing musicianship.
Their music touches my heart and makes my life better in all ways . That's a powerful gift and why I love them for each song they write.
